Schouten Zekerheid is in all aspects focused on continuity. As an insurance broker, we play an important role in the economic process. In our vision, there is no room for one-hit wonders in this field. In our relationships with employees, customers, insurers and other stakeholders, we always seek long-term relationships.

Consumers, companies and governments have increasingly higher demands with regard to sustainability for their products. Schouten Zekerheid wants to respond to this need by means of conscious and structural business operations. The awareness stems from the fact that we as an organisation are open to growth, but do not stare blindly at it; choices are made deliberately.

The structural implementation is consistent with the long term vision of our organisation. CSR helps us in our ambition to continue to develop as an innovative, customisable and profitable insurance company with a high level of knowledge among the top ten in the Netherlands offering a pleasant and good place to work. Our CSR policy focuses on the three roles of Schouten Zekerheid in society


Our social impact is the most significant in our daily work. With our advice and custom solutions, Schouten Zekerheid can how it handles its social responsibility. Increasingly, the CSR policy of our customers is a decisive factor in the purchasing strategy of insurance products.  


By enabling work to be performed independent from time and location, Schouten Zekerheid contributes to reducing traffic congestion and CO2 emissions and facilitates employees in better coordinating their work-life balance. We also encourage reducing the use of paper by striving for a paperless organisation, but also by integrating, for example, an electronic insurance policy.


Schouten Zekerheid uses its knowledge and experience in organising financial security to help solve social and economic problems. In the Netherlands and abroad. The most tangible example is our sponsorship of sports. Currently, we sponsor Hockey Club Rotterdam, football club FC 's-Gravenzande and Rotterdam Topsport. We also believe it important to support charities and talent. We are affiliated with the Business Breakfast Clubs of the Ronald McDonald House Barendrecht and the Ronald McDonald House Sophia in Rotterdam. We have teamed up with galerieWind to organise a photography contest for emerging talent and we find it important to support the Daniel den Hoed Foundation.
